Abstract
This article reports on a project entitled "Teaching Leadership for a Diverse Society." This project, which was funded by the Dwight D. Eisenhower Leadership Development Program, focused on preparing college undergraduates for leadership roles in an increasingly diverse society through the development of course materials, teaching methods, and activities for incorporation into a required introductory course in the leadership studies major. As suggested by the title, this article is an attempt to share recommendations about the strategies which can be used to meet the challenges of this type of endeavor.
