Abstract
Barriers are frequently encountered by leaders when attempting to redirect the collective focus in groups, organizations, and communities. Cocreative relationships occur when leaders and followers work together in a reciprocally responsible relationship based upon a common purpose. A leaming community is one in which members are actively involved in gaining skills and knowledge for contribution to the whole. Covenanting toward a common purpose, translating that intention into reality, and achieving success through the creation of synergistic relationships are foundational to the creation of transformal effects upon systems. Essential factors for developing such outcomes have been identified and can be actualized.
