Abstract
This article analyzes a framework for leadership within the context of a quality organization. It builds on the premise that leadership is an essential element in achieving organizational effectiveness. The focus of this discussion is a statement of principles, illustrated by concepts, providing a frame of reference for developing leadership skills to heighten administrative and functional quality. The intent is to overview the anatomy and demonstrated importance of leadership in achieving association quality. There can be no significant institutional excellence without leadership. Organizations in the process of implementing value-added, constructive changes within today's highly competitive international environment will immediately recognize the importance of leadership at every organizational level. This paper is also designed to sharpen the ability of individuals to more effectively lead in establishing and maintaining quality-driven, efficient, and cost-effective organizations.
