Leadership is necessary in the organization. Without leadership, there can be no quality because leadership is directly related to quality. Organizations wishing to implement change and to compete effectively will immediately recognize the value of leadership at every level. Once leadership begins, it must cascade throughout the organization and help to create a culture in which quality is paramount and change is recognized as a necessary part of the competitive adventure.
