Abstract
The National Furniture Center has evaluated present Federal Aviation Administration traffic controllers' chairs to determine reaction to chairs presently used and determine whether or not new chairs and/or new features are needed. To formulate the questions and questionnaire format, the services of a major market research organization were retained. This paper will present the preliminary results of the first stage of evaluation.
