Abstract
What is your reaction to these different philosophies of treatment? The same case conceptualized by two prominent theorists-one systemic, the other intrapsychic-presents some similarities and many differences. Because most readers of this journal will identify more readily with the systems model, the perceptual-experiential model may produce some theoretical and practical dissonance.
