Using the multiple minority stress theory and intersectional theory, this article examines how adult transracial LGBTQIA+ adoptees are also affected by multiple minority stress. Using a decolonial lens, this article will help counselors and other mental health professionals understand how to serve adoptee clients with intersectional identities.
