Abstract
The purpose of this article is to demonstrate how counselors can use Francis Walton’s Most Memorable Observation technique (MMO) in their work with couples. The first section of this article focuses on an introduction to the technique, including a theoretical rationale. The second section is dedicated to a detailed description of the process of using the MMO as a counseling technique with couples. Three case studies are featured within this article to demonstrate how the MMO counseling technique can be utilized when working with diverse couples. A brief review of the techniques limitations concludes this article.
