Abstract
This article illuminates a collaborative effort between the author and Dr. Arnold A. Lazarus, an internationally known presenter, author, and therapist. Many consider Lazarus to be a pioneer of behavior therapy and brief psychotherapy. Details about his unique perspective regarding therapy with couples and families will be presented. Boundary issues, marital myths, and divorce were a few of the topics that surfaced in conversations. Incorporated throughout discussions of each of these topics, Lazarus provided several case examples that illustrate his dynamic and innovative approach to working with clients.
