Abstract
Learning to identify, label, and share feelings is an important ingredient of healthy personal, social, and family functioning. The Feeling Word Game provides a lively, creative context for these tasks. The game consists of 110 colorful cards, each of which displays an emotional descriptor. Divided into two levels of difficulty, the cards can be used in a variety of therapeutic ways with individuals, couples, groups, and families. A creative counselor need not be limited by the six variations of play that are suggested in the game bag; innovative variations are encouraged.
