Unless the results of ergonomics research can be stated clearly and succinctly, they are not likely to be considered in system improvement.

Each report must have a list of references including the books, articles, and other sources of information that the ergonomist has cited in the report. The format for references should follow the guidelines set forth by the American Psychological Association (5th ed., 2001). The references should be listed in alphabetical order. Unpublished observations and personal communications cannot be used as references. They can, however, be mentioned in the text in parentheses
