Abstract
Discussion over the last decade has focused on how to approach the millennial generation, a term given to those born in the early 1980s and who graduated from high school in the 2000s. Much of the research has focused on how to best address this generation’s needs in business, academic, and advertising settings. Literature has been sparse on looking at millennial males specifically, not only in a non-therapeutic context but in a therapeutic context as well. Using current research from various disciplines as a platform, effective therapeutic interventions with millennial males will be discussed. New opportunities for developing the therapeutic relationship will be offered.
