Abstract
The study investigates the science process skills and study habits of secondary school students on their cognitive outcomes in biology. Using a survey method, data were collected from 300 students selected through stratified random sampling from schools in Kottayam District, Kerala. Data were gathered employing instruments designed to assess science process skills, study habits, and cognitive outcomes. Findings underscore the importance of fostering science process skills and study habits to improve academic performance. The study offers insights for educators and policymakers to develop strategies that enhance biology education and promote the practical application of knowledge at the secondary level.
