Abstract
The psychometric properties of the Korean version of the revised Self-Care of Heart Failure Index (SCHFI) remain undetermined; therefore, we aimed to evaluate the construct and convergent validity and reliability of the Korean version of the SCHFI in Korean patients with heart failure (HF). Using a cross-sectional design, 207 patients with HF provided data on self-care and self-efficacy in self-care for this psychometric testing. The confirmatory factor analysis supported the construct validity of the Korean version with a three-factor structure: Self-Care Maintenance, Symptom Perception, and Self-Care Management.
