Working with the enemy in war time is labeled “collaboration.” Too often, College of Education and school district relationships resemble a battlefield between “town and gown.” The purpose of this paper is to identify the relationships developed and the significant programs that have resulted from a positive joint venture with one university and its surrounding school districts.
