You are about to enter the twilight zone of diversity. We often feel like we have entered the twilight zone when it comes to discussions about diversity and educating students about the implications of diversity for organizations. This exercise is designed to increase awareness about diversity and about false assumptions associated with diversity that lead to stereotypical and discriminatory views. The activity uses an excerpt from Twilight Zone: The Movie to illustrate these concepts and to generate discussion about dealing with diversity. Suggestions for integrating this activity into discussions on a variety of topics related to diversity are provided.
