Abstract
Business commuication courses often ignore the critical context in which writing and oral presentation occurs in organizations. A course format is presented that simulates the relationship between manager and staff members during communication activities. Interviews match students, renegotiation sessions structure feedback, and groups shift for business tasks. Student role evaluations from this pilot course point toward future course expansion. Ideas and simulations are adaptable for any organizational communication course.
