Abstract
One problem in careers courses that rely on the case method is that it is hard for many students to develop an understanding of how the concepts apply to them personally. This article describes an approach for solving at least part of the problem by using a final exam format that helps students both review course concepts and think about the implications for their own careers. The article includes background information on the course, a description of the actual exam, and a discussion of the benefits and potential pitfalls of the approach.
