Abstract
A variety of constituents in management education have advocated the need for integrating liberal arts into the business curriculum. In response, this article presents an overview of a freshman seminar for prospective managers. The purpose of the seminar is to explore the arts and literature to discover what lessons can be learned about leadership. Through application of the five learning disciplines, students are challenged to analyze and interpret artistic and literary works with respect to leadership concepts.
