We present results of simultaneous measurements of shear stress and current flowing through a cellulose/mineral oil suspension subjected to shear and DC electric field. Single curves for the variation of apparent viscosity and normalised current are obtained when taking a simplified Mason number as variable. The different regimes observed are discussed in terms of the degree of structuration of the suspension reflected by the Mason number.
