Abstract
Adult educators often overlook the physical environment in which video instruction takes place. But quality video classrooms and teleconference facilities are important, not only because a properly designed viewing room will enhance program objectives and increase acceptance of this type of instruction, but also because as a group, adult learners may be resistant to nontraditional instructional methods and may have hearing or sight difficulties.
