Abstract
Normal hearing adult children of deaf parents were surveyed by mail to assess their life contentment, self-esteem, relationships with parents, and life experiences. Scale scores varied greatly, but no clinically significant problems were seen. Common dilemmas were maturing at too early an age and interpreting for parents.
