Facilitating an Eclectic Use of Practice Theory

Abstract

To link social work skills to an eclectic use of intervention theories, the generic assessment was translated into the language of role theory, and a problem typology based on the theory was developed. Each of its problem classifications suggests an intervention role most appropriate for the client's needs.
