Abstract
The role of fathers in their children’s lives has evolved, moving beyond traditional measures of co-residence and financial support to encompass various dimensions of meaningful involvement. A scoping review examined existing instruments measuring father involvement to explore this complex construct. Twenty-five studies met the inclusion criteria, providing a comprehensive overview of the scales researchers and organizations can use to study father involvement and support families.
