Coping With Adolescent Cancer: It's a Matter of Adaptation

Abstract

Adolescents with cancer face many stresses that challenge their ability to cope. Using the framework of the Roy model, common adaptation problems and nursing interventions are discussed as they pertain to adolescents with cancer. © 1991 by Association of Pediatric Oncology Nurses.
