Abstract
Mary Waskerwitz, as President, reported that APON's management contract signed with Adler, Droz in May, 1985, expires February 1, 1987. This contract is being reviewed to see if the needs of our organizations are being met. A Selection Committee has been appointed to review several management companies' proposals. Mary defined her goals as President which included: 1) to establish an effective management relationship; 2) to target JAPON, the annual conference and membership recruitment as the primary organizational foci; 3) to improve communication between the Board and the membership; and 4) to involve more nurses productively in APON.
