Abstract
This study examined indices of job satisfaction through observations of and interviews with six young adults with moderate and severe disabilities who had jobs in integrated workplaces. Interviews were also conducted with employers, parents, residential service providers, and teachers in order to secure additional or verifying information. Certain consistent behaviors were found that indicate job satisfaction among the workers. The presence or absence of such behaviors can be used by vocational trainers to assess the job satisfaction of persons with moderate and severe disabilities.
