Abstract
Numerous computer programs are available for performing automatic sprinkler system hydraulic calculations. Many of these programs are designed for contractors and others designing new sprinkler systems. "THE" Sprinkler Program is one program in a series of software marketed by FPE Software Inc., created for the fire protection professional. "THE" Sprinkler Program was designed "with user friendliness and input/output efficiency in mind." This review discusses the programs features of interest to the practicing fire protection engineer.
