The primary focus of the Foundation in recent years has been to provide travel funding to enable students (DVM, post-DVM, or other graduate students) to attend and present their work at the annual AAVLD meeting. By increasing the number of students that attend the annual meeting, the Foundation aims to encourage greater involvement in diagnostic laboratory medicine, as well as long-term participation in AAVLD.
The mission of the AAVLD Foundation is to
—recruit, educate, and retain the next generation of veterinary diagnosticians
—reward excellence in veterinary diagnostic medicine
We are happy to announce that the silent and live auctions at the 2023 AAVLD annual meeting raised $18,135.00
