In this article, there was an error in the title and the text where “virotype” should have been used instead of “pathotype”:

The title should read “Isolation of a multidrug-resistant Escherichia coli virotype Stx2:Cnf1:Cnf2:Eae as a potential cause of hemorrhagic diarrhea and secondary septicemia in a dog”

The first sentence of the last paragraph should read, “Virulence factors of 2 pathotypes, EHEC and NTEC, combined in this single strain of E. coli resulted in a new and virulent virotype (Stx2:Cnf1:Cnf2:Eae) that appeared responsible for the fatal outcome.”
