Abstract

J Vet Diagn Invest 20:716–724 (November 2008).
In the article entitled “Routine phenotypic identification of bacterial species of the family Pasteurellaceae isolated from animals” by Florence Dousse et al., the following corrections should be noted.
Page 720, 1st paragraph, line 8: The sentence should read “The A. pleuropneumoniae biovar II serotype 13 reference strain N273, and …”.
Figure 1: Under β NAD-dependence, “indole neg.” and “indole pos.” should not have appeared under the arrows for “haemolyis” and “no haemolysis,” respectively. The corrected figure is below.
The authors regret these mistakes.

Flow diagram of the phenotypic identification process for Actinobacillus sp., Avibacterium sp., Gallibacterium sp., Haemophilus sp., Mannheimia sp., Nicoletella sp., and Pasteurella sp. that are typically isolated in veterinary bacterial diagnostic laboratories. The Table numbers refer to tables in this article.
