In the article entitled “Isolation of Arcanobacterium hippocoleae from a case of placentitis and stillbirth in a mare” by Bemis et al., the orientation of placenta tissue in Figure 1 was incorrectly stated. The correct statement should read “chorioallantois, chorionic surface …” rather than “chorioallantois, allantoic surface …”. We regret this error.
