In the article entitled “Histologic features and clinical outcomes of melanomas of lip, haired skin, and nail bed locations of dogs” by Patricia C. Schultheiss, an error appears on line 11 of the Abstract. The 1-year survival rate for dogs was incorrectly given as 69% for melanomas of the lip. The correct 1-year survival rate should be 31%. The editorial office regrets this error.
