Abstract
This contribution is an inspiring and innovative example of the impact one individual can have on the opportunity structure of a community and several of its youth. The author is an architect residing and working in Italy, who is also building community career development and, yes, he is Stu Conger's son! He lives in Monte San Martino, Italy, where he designs homes for many foreigners seeking a small piece of paradise—many of whom have found themselves drawn to help revitalise their new village through a skill bank foundation.
