This review article covers a number of important developments in the field of
employment law in Australia during 1992. The discussion is arranged under
a number of headings: the changing industrial environment; common law
wrongful dismissal; statutory unfair dismissal; impact of the Trade Practices
Act; discrimination in the employment interview; and statutory initiatives in the
employment law area.
