Abstract
Aproposal that IPMA conduct a World Personnel Congress in Sydney in 1988 has been officially endorsed by the World Federation of Personnel Management Associations (WFPMA). The 1988 World Personnel Congress will be held from October 17-21 in Sydney and will be organized by the NSW Division on behalf of the IPMA and the Asian-Pacific Federation for Personnel Management (APFPM). A Congress Committee has been working on preliminary planning over the past three years under the Chairmanship of Bryan Bateson and endorsement by the WFPMA in June this year was a fitting reward for the considerable time and effort which the Committee has already put into the project.
