Abstract
The objectives of DPA are:
(a) to measure the decision making preferences of people; and,
(b) to measure the decision making requirements ofjobs.
With these variables known, people can then more effectively be matched to jobs, so leading to a higher level ofjob satisfactionfor the individual and higher productivity for the organisation. The title of the technique, Decision Percep tion Analysis, was chosen to convey its intention — to analyse an individual's perception of the correct decision and then to utilise that information to fit the individual into a preferredjob.
