Abstract
On this subject of National importance we have sought viewpoints over three areas, namely, Educational, Occupa tional, and Vocational. The views expressed below come from leaders in each of these fields , each with wide experience, and each currently involved.
It should be noted that in relation to the subject we have employed the phrase "of National importance". We do not, as we might have done, use the phrase "this matter of grave concern" as not all the views expressed by our Authors are deeply pessimistic. They do, however, hold in common the opinion that there is need for re-thinking, planning, and action, regarding the future relationship between education and work.
