Abstract
This article examines trends in Australian climate change litigation and emerging possibilities for future cases. It considers three categories of case: public sector government accountability, corporations in the private sector, and human rights. This analysis situates cases within the Paris Agreement categories of action (adaptation, mitigation, and loss and damage) and shows how the Paris Agreement categories and targets are developing into legal standards through case law.
