Abstract
The XVIth World Conference on Health Promotion and Health Education was celebrated in San Juan, Puerto Rico, this past June 1998. This was the major world conference of reflection and endeavours in the professional, scientific and cultural spheres of health promotion and health education to consider new horizons for health in the coming millennium.
