Using "the deep hermeneutic procedure" of Alfred Lorenzer, an attempt is made to achieve a scenic understanding of a sports environment at Helgoland, Copenhagen. Author participation in the interplay of experience and movement and the spontaneous feeling and associations which are obtained, are record for the bodily experience of swimming in the waters of the sound. The scenic context and the bodily experience are described.
