Abstract
In her study, the author investigates the relationship of workers in Hungary, today, with the sport-club, sport performance and mass sport of their "own" enterprise.
She examines, by questionnaire-method in a so-called representative sample, selected by mathematical-statistcial methods from about 30,000 workers of a large municipal enterprise:
— which place does participation in competitions, contests at the factory, talks about sport-organizations, competitions, competitors, and actual sport activi ty, occupy on the scale of values of workers?
— what kind of differences are there in this respect between various social strata and groups?
— which are the most important sociological characteristics of those involved in sport?
Results obtained in the course of investigations are suitable for orienting further work of the enterprise concerned, and that of its sport club.
