Abstract
Omprakash Valmiki and Frederick Douglass were born as human beings in this world. But they were classified as Dalit and Slave respectively. As a result, they were deprived of their child and manhood. They hoped to survive, yet were discriminated, humiliated and assaulted. Their autobiographies have, as Northon Frye said, “Dianoia” which are the life matters of the writer and provide sequences of context. They are made up of the replica of the writers; ideas and beliefs, the representation of the era; general philosophy, religious faith , or political and cultural attitudes. The inclusiveness of the issues like love, memories, and death attract the readers. All are addressed to the world for identity and emancipation.
