In this paper, an attempt has been made to measure the impact of Global Financial Crises on Indian economy in general and on the Indian Stock Market in particular. Additionally, this study intends to discuss the role of RBI in the present context and to examine the relationship between the Indian stock market and US stock markets. This paper employs the data from January 1, 1999 to December 31, 2008 to investigate the impact on Indian stock market and the integration of Indian stock market and US stock market. The result suggests that the Indian Stock market was affected by the Global financial crunches.
