Abstract
Spirituality is often an ambiguous term which connotes different ideas. It has been considered as a tendency to guide thoughts, feelings and actions by an idea which is beyond, transcendent and ultimately important. Spiritual action generates positive emotions which in turn generate “upward spiral” and enhance emotional well-being (Fredickson, 2001) toward optimal functioning. The paper presents empirical results of spiritual intervention on executive burnout. Executive burnout was measured by Sharma Burnout Scale developed by the author with Cronbach alpha. 91 and concurrent validity coefficient with MBI. .35 (p<.01).
