Abstract
In a well lit conference room, a high power committee meeting was in progress. The meeting was attended by Vice Chancellors of State Agricultural Universities, Agriculture Production Commissioner of State, along with senior government functionaries such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Environment and Forestry, Animal husbandry and Food processing secretaries of the state. In the meeting, industry was represented by the representatives of CII and FICCI. Various NGOs and pressure groups such as BKU also attended the meeting. Meeting was called to evolve a land development policy approach for the state, based on collaboration of various stakeholders. After ice-breaking session, secretary of the committee started addressing the gathering.
