Abstract
The present paper attempts to highlight the changing attitude of Lois in general and particularly the Lois of a village by the name of Phayeng of Manipur towards its occupational dynamics, with a view to create an insightful vision in the changing scenario of their occupational and economic life. A household survey of the village was conducted bearing in mind to gather a holistic data of the village regarding its socio-economic status. The data have been substantiated with interviews and observations made during the fieldwork in the village
