Abstract
Electronic commerce (besides its technological dimensions) raises legal issues of practical importance for the commercial world. These legal issues arise mainly because traditional legal phraseology does not expressly address itself to matter which is transmitted invisibly and intangibly The law of contracts particularly needs attention in this context. It is probable that its present language will receive liberal interpretation, so as to recognize electronic commerce. At the same time, legislative clarification will be desirable.
