Abstract
Considering that logistics is a strategic sector that reflects a competitive advantage, measuring logistic performance assertively helps this purpose. This research proposes a procedure for measuring logistical performance based on the experiences of a medium-sized furniture company in Brazil using a qualitative approach. The data were collected from semi-structured interviews with six employees. The proposed procedure for measuring logistical performance is composed of 11 processes, and its result has the potential to help organizations generate information for strategic decisions and accurate investments.
