The infectious disease coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) emerged as a human pathogen and contributed to a pandemic around the world. According to the reports released as of February 2021, around 103 million confirmed cases and 2,247,917 deaths are registered. The pandemic of COVID-19, or coronavirus, has exposed several global system vulnerabilities. COVID-19 has caused the Indian economy to experience considerable disruption. The current pandemic of the coronavirus may lead to a permanent loss of 4 per cent of real Indian gross domestic product (GDP). Some key sectors such as tourism and aviation, telecommunication, automobiles and transport are negatively impacted. The other sectors such as e-learning, e-retail, logistics, pharmaceuticals and so on benefit from COVID-19.
